House League (U4-U7)

House Program

About Our House Program:
Our goal is to offer our youngest players an opportunity to learn about soccer
in a fun and engaging way. Our focus is on FUNdamentals where players
spend time in small and large groups, learning skills and playing fun games.
Scrimmages are typically played at the end of each session with players of
similar level being grouped.

Sessions are once per week on Saturday morning. The season runs from the
second weekend of September to early March (with a winter break from
December-January).

Players choose one of the two locations to participate:
  • Lochside Park (possibly moving into a gym (to be confirmed) for winter)
  • Tyndall / Lambrick Park

We offer an optional spring session (April-June).

Equipment
Players will be provided with a club kit (club jersey, shorts and socks). For the
outdoor sessions, players are required to wear soccer cleats and shin guards.
For the indoor session, indoor soccer shoes or regular sneakers with non-
marking soles and shin guards.

Parent Participation Required
Our house league training involves the parents, so both player and parent can
have fun while developing their skills, and so you can support your child
outside of practice time. Throughout the season, we will also support
interested parents in beginning coach training. If you’re interested in becoming
a coach, please let the coordinator for your age group know.
