Winter Academy 2026 Registration

Open to all registered Saanich Fusion players, this program is led by our experienced Technical Team and is designed to bring out the best in every player. If your player wants to improve personal skills, physical literacy (speed, agility, and coordination), and tactical awareness, the Academy is the perfect opportunity.

The Winter Academy will run Sundays from January 18 – March 15.

Please note: No session will be held on Family Day weekend (February 15).

Important Information

• All players should register in their age group. 
• Movement of players to other session times will only occur after most registrations are complete.
• Technical Directors Brett Hyslop and Steph Steiner may adjust groupings to ensure players of similar abilities are placed together.
• Weekly groupings are tiered to provide the best developmental experience. If changes are necessary, Brett and Steph will contact players directly.

Location: Tyndall Turf and Doug Day Grass (Upper Tyndall)
Dates: Sundays — Jan 18, Jan 25, Feb 1, Feb 8, Feb 15 (NO session), Feb 22, Mar 1, Mar 8, Mar 15
Fee: $150.00, payable by credit card at registration

Girls

• U8- U9 / U10 / U11: 4:00–5:00 pm
• U12 / U13 / U14: 5:00–6:00 pm

Boys

• U8 -U9 / U10: 2:00–3:00 pm
• U11 / U12 / U13 / U14: 3:00–4:00 pm

Competitive Pathway Prep Academy (CPP)

The Competitive Pathway Prep Academy (CPP) is designed for players seeking additional development within the Tier 3/Gold and Tier 2 competitive stream.

Eligibility

Girls:
• U12–U13 Tier 3 players
• U14–U16 Tier 2 players

Boys:
• U12 Tier 3 (Gold Program) players
• U13 Tiers 3 & 4 (Gold Program) players
• U14–U16 Tier 2 players

Please note: All eligible or invited CPP players must register through the Academy registration system, even if invited directly by Brett or Steph.

CPP Schedule

• U12–U13 Tier 3 Boys & Girls: 6:00–7:00 pm
• U14–U16 Tier 2 Boys & Girls: 7:00–8:00 pm

CPP Locations

• Boys begin at Tyndall on Jan 18
• Girls begin at Hampton on Jan 18
• Locations will alternate weekly until Mar 15
